Recording a bit early today, around eleven or almost eleven. Morning was pretty quiet. Had chicken biryani again — Mom probably asked my brother to pick it up from our regular spot. Haven't had it in a while, and it was as good as always.
Around noon, maybe a little after, we headed over to Central. My brother needed to stop by True to cancel the SIM on his backup phone. The traffic there was insane today. Even for a Saturday, it was way too much. If we'd taken a car, there wouldn't have been a single parking spot. Luckily we took the motorbike, though even the bike parking was nearly full. (laughs)
Once we got inside, we realized why — Central Krabi was hosting the Taekwondo Championship 2026. The place was packed with people and young athletes. A good number of Thai kids, but also a ton of foreign and mixed-race kids with their families. It was set up like a really big, proper championship.

Finished our errand at True pretty quickly. My brother also went ahead and booked a home Wi-Fi installation for his new house. When they checked the port in his area, there was literally only one port left. If he didn't grab it right then, the only options would be waiting for headquarters to expand the terminal — which the staff said takes forever — or switching to AIS. But we've had trouble with AIS before with our Xiaomi security cameras not connecting properly, so sticking with True was the safer bet. Got that reserved without issues.
After that, we stopped by Tops to grab some bread for Mom. Something funny happened at checkout: they had this promotion where select items were three for a hundred baht, regardless of whether a piece was thirty or forty. We picked out six pieces, fully expecting it to be two hundred baht. I even checked the shelf tags to make sure. Then the cashier rang it up: two hundred and thirty-something baht. (laughs) My brother and I just looked at each other like, wait, why two-thirty? We'd already paid, but once we checked the receipt, the mystery was solved. One of the items wasn't part of the promo. On the shelf, everything was mixed together, or maybe someone grabbed one in a rush and put it back in the wrong spot under the promo sign. Stood there totally baffled for a second.
Got back home in the afternoon. The weather was scorching today. Settled down to do my Anki review through the afternoon and evening. I've started finding a rhythm to get through them faster lately, but today was over a hundred and thirty cards — they keep stacking up. (sighs) It took about two or three hours.
I haven't been to the gym in two days now, today would've been the third. I thought about going, but after seeing that traffic, I gave up and decided to just work out at home. In the evening, I walked around the Saturday market with Mom first. Wanted to check for fruit, but there wasn't anything new, just the usual grapes and apples, not really what I was hoping for. Mom got some food for herself, and we came away with just some grapes.
Once we got home, I did a full bodyweight session. Pushed pretty hard, and my legs are still completely shot right now, like there's no energy left in them.
Showered, had dinner, and then just relaxed. Watched some anime — still on the same series. I've been trying to let episodes pile up since most of what I'm watching this season is still currently airing. I watched 'Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her', which is a really sweet romance that I've been enjoying. Now I'm caught up to the latest episode and stuck waiting week by week again, after successfully hoarding two weeks' worth.
Also resubscribed to Netflix today because there's a Japanese series I want to watch called 'Good Morning Call'. I came across a short clip on Instagram and it caught my eye. I've never watched a Japanese drama before, so it felt like a fun thing to try, and maybe I can practice some Japanese by turning on the Japanese subtitles to read along with the text. The reviews say it might get a little sad in parts, but we'll see.
That's pretty much everything. Might record another one before sleeping, or might not. See ya.
