It's really late tonight, almost 2 AM, and I just got home (laughs). I can talk now because I'll be sleeping soon.
The day started with exercising in the morning. In the evening, my brother's friend, P'Poom, came over. We decided to go for a walk at Central mall.
A lot happened with Sky today, so many funny moments. (laughs) Sky was training for a 25-kilometer uphill trail run, so he was out practicing near his house. When I called him, we were planning to play a new board game tonight. I asked what he was doing and where he was, and he said he was running. His house and ours are about 12 or 13 kilometers apart.
We agreed to meet in half an hour, but more than that passed, so I called him again. He said he was almost there, but his voice sounded muffled. I asked how he was getting here. "I ran," he said. (laughs) He was training, so he just ran from his house to ours! The plan was to run to our house, drink some water, and then run back. (laughs) But we ended up meeting at Central.
We were all starving — me, my brother, and P'Poom. When Sky arrived, we went to eat KFC. As usual, when we're hungry, we order way too much. (laughs) Sky even dropped 300 baht from his pocket while he was taking his phone out during his run. So, we ate KFC. (laughs) We ended up with a lot of leftover French fries. Sky mostly ordered the All-Star Box burgers. We ate at the restaurant, but Sky wasn't that hungry yet, probably tired from running.
On the way back home, it got even funnier. We (three of us) went to Central expecting Sky to drive his motorcycle. But he ran! So on the way back, we ended up riding four people on one PCX motorcycle. (laughs) Four people! And everyone is huge, like giants. (laughs) It was hilarious. P'Poom had to sit in front, my brother drove, I was third, and Sky was squeezed in at the back. We almost flew off at every turn trying to get home. Even though it's not that far, it was definitely a memorable moment for this year. (laughs)
Once we got home, we picked up Pon and then went to Sky's house to play board games. We played the new board game I just bought, called "I'm the Boss." It was quite expensive, originally 1900 baht, but I waited for a big discount day and got it for 1200-something.
It was exactly as fun as I thought it would be after watching clips about it. I knew it would be great to play with this group of friends, and it really was. But by the time we got to Sky's house and he showered, it was already 9 or 10 PM. We played really late, five of us. We played until 1 AM. I wanted to leave earlier, but the game was just so much fun. "I'm the Boss" is really good.
Sky got hungry while we were playing, so he wanted to eat the leftover burger from the KFC box set that he brought back. But he forgot it at my house! (laughs) So no burger for Sky. Oh well. (chuckles) He found something else to eat, and we kept playing. We played three rounds, and each round took quite a while, almost half an hour or even more, depending on the negotiations. "I'm the Boss" is an investor game where you have to negotiate and make deals, and whoever has the most money at the end wins. It really is fun.
So, yeah, I just got back, washed my face, brushed my teeth. I'm about to go to sleep. Today I finished watching all three seasons of the anime Kaguya-sama: Love is War. Just the movie left to close it out. It's a really good series; I'll write a separate review for it since I even made a feature shelf for it.
That's about it. I'll probably go to sleep now. I don't think I have any plans tomorrow. My hands are really swollen from holding the cards and tensing my hands while playing.
Okay, Oh, it feels like today marks 31 days. If I post this entry, it means a full month. I did it! (laughs) I'll add this to my achievements. First time hitting 31 days on this date. Great!
