I just put the laundry in the dryer, but for bedding mode, it's two hours and fifty-five minutes — basically three hours. That means it'll be one in the morning when it's done. I probably won't even make the bed, just grab the blanket and go straight to sleep.
After sorting out the booking, we went swimming and kayaking. There were four of us on the trip: me, Pon, my brother, and P'Poom. Sky couldn't make it because of work. We kayaked in pairs, me with Pon, and P'Poom with my brother. The route at Tha Pom Canal isn't very long, and it was 100 baht per person. It was a weekday, near noon, so there was no one else there. It was fun, but I didn't get to paddle much (laughs). I let Pon do most of the work because my ulnar nerve still hasn't healed, and I'm supposed to go to physical therapy soon. The doctor would scold me! (laughs) I did use my hand a bit today, and it felt a little heavy, which made me feel a bit guilty (laughs). But it wasn't too bad, and it seems okay now.
On the way out, it was uneventful. My brother and P'Poom paddled really fast, but Pon and I were quite slow since he was paddling alone, and we wanted to take in the scenery. But the return trip felt so long. We thought my brother and P'Poom would have already reached the starting point and gone swimming. Turns out, their boat capsized! (laughs) They were capsized right near the entrance. We paddled back for ages, and then it was like, "Oh, you're still here?" (laughs) It was a moment where everyone helped flip the boat and get the water out. Then a staff member paddled over to help (laughs), and everyone just swam back. Luckily, it wasn't too far from the starting point. It's definitely a memorable moment, and it was fun.

We got to swim on the way back, and by then, more people had arrived, including a group of foreigners. It was fun playing with inner tubes and swimming. When we got back home, my brother had gone with Mom to buy more tiles for his house, so it was just the three of us. We decided to go to Central to grab some food. We ended up at the cafeteria, and Pon and I got chicken and rice from our usual stall. Today, I didn't get as much as usual because they changed the person chopping the chicken, even though I ordered the same special portion. P'Poom had something with mala.
After eating, we went to the arcade, the coin-operated game area at Central. We didn't play for long, just walked around and looked. P'Poom wanted to buy perfume at Moshi-moshi, so we went there.
Then we went back home to pick up my brother, who had returned from buying tiles. We all went back to Central again for Swensen's ice cream. They had a buy-one-get-one-free promotion for a glass cup, running from the 20th to the 24th. I haven't had Swensen's in ages, so it was a good chance to have some. It was delicious (laughs), and I felt so fat (laughs). I haven't run in days, not since I went to the doctor for gastritis.
After that, we all went home. A quick update on the gastritis: it's still what I'm calling gastritis, but it's much, much better. I had a little pain this morning, but none during the day, not even when we were swimming. I guess I wasn't being careful with my body at all. I really hope it heals soon because I want to get back to running.
I was debating whether to cycle or run at Central this evening, but there were so many cars. There's a school football competition at a nearby, and parents had parked everywhere, blocking both the entrance and exit. So I couldn't go. If I went, I'd have to take my motorbike, but I'm worried about my hand since I used it a lot today. So I'll rest it another day. It's been four days without running now. Not running itself isn't the problem, but I've been eating a lot. The days I don't run are definitely calorie surplus days.
I came back and didn't do much, didn't watch any more anime, and here we are. (sighs) As I said, there were so many activities, so I'll split this into two entries (laughs). I won't sleep yet; I'll probably find something to do while waiting for the blanket to finish drying.
My Claude Code subscription just expired on the 21st. I feel a bit lonely not coding, though I didn't even use it for the last three or four days because I was so into anime. I probably won't resubscribe yet since I don't have a clear project in mind or know what I'd even build next.
That's about it. I'm sure I missed some details, but this is what I can recall. It was a really good day. See you before bed.
