Yo! I need to record this before I lose my streak. It's 10:30 PM, and I just finished showering and hanging clothes because I had just done laundry and dried it. I also cleared out the whole room today, not just my clothes, but also the bedding — the pillowcases, pillows, mattress cover, and the blanket are still spinning. They'll probably need another hour or two in the dryer, maybe two hours. (laughs) When am I going to sleep? I have to wait. Oh, it just finished washing; I can hear the machine. I'll put it in the dryer later.
Today was full of activities because I woke up early. As I mentioned, I had a client meeting after the land survey this morning at 9 AM. I woke up at 8, and called Pon a little after 8. I called P'Poom, but he didn't answer. (laughs) It was past 8 when I finally reached him; he had just woken up. So I gave him some time, but we all knew in our heart that we weren't going to make it on time. (laughs) P'Poom takes forever to get ready. So, we ended up being late. It was past 9:10 AM when we finally left P'Poom's house. Everyone had their swim clothes ready because we were going swimming, just like we'd planned yesterday.
We met the client and finished everything around 10 or 11 AM. We also had to clear things up about the new land. (laughs) P'Poom went down to negotiate with my brother. So, the work was done by 11 AM, and then we headed to Khlong Tha Pom to go swimming. It's a pretty famous spot in Krabi.
On the way, we stopped at 7-Eleven to grab a snack and some food. Then I saw a notification from Booking.com: a new booking came in for the 22nd to the 25th.
At first, I thought, 'Oh, they booked for next year or something,' because we hadn't opened the hostel or bungalow for bookings yet, right? And then, damn, they messaged me saying they probably wouldn't arrive on the 22nd and asked if they could just stay on the 23rd and 24th, checking out on the 25th. They were Russian.
I was confused at first. 'Why would they say that? How could they miss their flight time? Isn't it next year?' But when I looked closely at the dates, it wasn't next year at all. It was today! They had booked to check in today at the bungalow on Koh Jum. I was like, 'What the fuck?' So I called Booking.com's call center. First, I checked, 'Didn't I close it?' It turns out I had closed it, but only until yesterday. (laughs) It was a manual closure where I dragged the dates, and it only went up to yesterday. From today onwards, everything was green, open for bookings. So, I was screwed. I called Booking.com and asked their support to help cancel and negotiate.
That went well, but I still haven't closed the reservation. I can't close it through the app. I'll try the website, but I haven't logged in there yet because it requires my brother's phone number for verification, and he's not around right now. I'll do it tomorrow. Hopefully, no new bookings come in.
And then we went swimming. I should probably cut the entry here. I'll record the swimming part as a new entry; we'll split it into parts.
