It's 4 PM. (sighs) I didn't record last night, which is a shame. I was debating if I should record before bed, but I think it was already 1 AM. Anyway, I wanted to talk about last night.
I got to chat with my friends. We hadn't gotten together in weeks, maybe months. We all met up on Discord, my close friends. (laughs) We just chatted and had a good time, talking about everything. We played ROV for a few games. It was past midnight. Non had to work early, and his girlfriend had a graduation ceremony today. She had to wake up at 3 AM, and it was already past midnight. So he went to bed to let her get some sleep. (laughs) Just two hours. But it was so much fun yesterday. We actually planned to play games again today, but we're not sure yet. We also talked to my younger brother in the group; he's 21 next year and will be starting university. (laughs) His classmates will probably be bowing to him. (laughs) We talked a lot, it was a really fun time to gather.
Today, Milo didn't come to wake me up. Mom's new method is to leave the door open when she lets him out, so he can come and go as he pleases. But my body was still on edge, anticipating being woken up. I kept waking up and falling back asleep. I also decided to turn off the AC last night, just in case Milo decided to come sleep in the cool air. (laughs) So it was hot. Milo didn't wake me up, but I still didn't sleep well. I kept waking up and only got six hours of sleep. My dark circles are starting to show; I'm becoming a panda.
This morning, I reviewed Japanese and had breakfast. Mom made red pork again today. She bought more to marinate, and after two days, we ate it today. I was eating the red pork, then made coffee, and went back to Japanese study on Anki. I'm still not done with Anki. There are 25 new words every day, and today I had over 50 old words to review. These recent sessions have been taking hours. (laughs) The shorter ones I can do quickly, but for these longer ones, I need to take breaks. (laughs)
This afternoon, around 3 PM, I went to Central with Mom. We went to verify her AIS mobile SIM card. There's some new regulation; we tried to do it online, but the face scan kept failing. So we went to Central. We did some shopping there too. (laughs) I bought Cha Tra Mue, some bread, and things from Tops market. Verifying the SIM at the branch was super fast. The music is so loud here, I hope it's not picked up. I'm really into this song right now, 'Dao Nam Thang' (Guiding Star). I've been listening to it on repeat for two days. I love it.
After we got back, I haven't done much. I was planning to go to the gym after dropping Mom off, but my arm feels heavy. My elbow feels warm; I'm not sure if it's inflamed from overuse. So I'm cold-compressing it now. (laughs) I'll see if it feels better; maybe I'll go for an incline walk. Today has been pretty chill. I'll listen to music for a bit and keep cold-compressing. I'll record again later tonight.
