I ended up getting up and watching more Grand Blue. (sighs) It's almost over, just one more episode to finish the first season. I don't even know how to explain it; it's the kind of anime where you can't drink water while watching, because you'll just spit it out laughing. (laughs) I really should have watched this a long time ago, but it feels like the right time now.
It's midnight now, and I need to go to sleep soon. I want to listen to a podcast as I drift off, because later in the night, I don't really want to listen to anything – I just want to sleep.
I should give an update on the web project. Today, I mainly worked on features for the 'Page' component. This allows uploading both photos and videos, with cropping for public versions and keeping the originals. I also worked on various other things like implementing Widgets, optimizing static data caching, and a lot of small details. Most of the work was on the Page editor, the text input, which I plan to use for journal entries too, because it's working really well.
Oh, and I also built a feature to sync journal images with the Daily Photo section. So if I attach a photo to an entry, it will automatically appear in the Daily Photo for that specific day, and you can link back to see which entry it came from.
I can't think of anything else for now. I also improved the mobile UI, but that's just for the admin/owner side, not for public users or regular viewers.
That should be everything. I'm not sure what I have planned for tomorrow yet, but I think I'll be able to sleep in.
Oh, there was another deal today. My brother went with my dad on a separate work thing, but it didn't go as planned. There were some minor issues, and it's probably better to avoid it because it didn't seem like it would work out. Alright, I'm off. See you.
