It's past midnight, and I'm so sleepy (laughs), but it was a good day. We closed the client. Today I also went to check on the new house, and it looks like there are some problems. It'll need more renovation than I expected.
Inside, the ceiling is completely moldy, probably from a leaky roof. Water has been dripping, making it damp. My mom and brother checked the rest, since I was already home and too lazy to go back (laughs). They said the bathroom is a bit small, and there's no kitchen counter. The back room isn't set up for cooking, which would be an issue for tenants. The budget will definitely go over, and the return on investment will take longer. The bigger issue is that the money will be tied up in the renovation, not flowing into other projects. We might need to talk to the bank again about financing, but I have to get it ready for tenants first.
I really should go to bed early, I've been sleepy since morning. But since I don't have anything urgent tomorrow, I'll stay up a bit longer. I let out a long breath, thinking about how intense these past two weeks have been. My hands are starting to swell again. Maybe I'm stretching incorrectly or just overusing them. The swelling had almost gone down in April, but now it feels like the beginning of the year again. It's frustrating that it's not getting better. I'll find a podcast to listen to before I sleep.
