Hello. (sighs) I'm recording this before midnight tonight. My eyes feel a bit strained. Today seemed to go well; it was a good day. I had a client meeting this morning around nine and was there until about two or three in the afternoon (laughs). It went well. It's just how things are, I guess. Results come from actions. I try to think of it that way, so I don't get too emotional about work; it's just my main job.
In the evening, I went for a cardio run. I did really well today (laughs), I'm proud of myself. I'm starting to enjoy running again; it's an enjoyable tired, not gasping for air like in the beginning. I managed forty minutes straight, averaging a pace of eight, with my heart rate still high. I miss those days when running felt so easy. I'll just keep going, but I won't push too hard.
This morning, the VPS server for the Rhom family website went down. It wasn't anything on our end, but from the provider. Our shared CPU server, around 4 AM, had its CPU usage stolen during a Cron Job, causing a spike that crashed the site. The provider seems to be migrating us to a new server. I hadn't considered this kind of issue before, but now I've implemented a health check that pings the server and sends alerts via email and Line if it goes down.
Beyond that, I've been doing some additional coding — not new features, but improving existing parts. I also started working on a new app called Voice to Task. It's for myself, though I might open it up to friends. I get tired of typing out tasks or to-dos, and Siri isn't accurate enough. So I'm building an app where I can just speak naturally, let AI structure it, and then put it into a calendar with reminders. That's the MVP idea. I just gave it a one-shot prompt before bed, and I'll tackle it again tomorrow.
I haven't read my CK book in two days, but I did read another comic book I bought. Last night I woke up often, too. My eyes feel really dark and tired right now, though I was able to fall back asleep. Tomorrow, I don't have any special missions. I'm not sure if I'll go to the gym, as I pushed myself a bit today. Maybe I'll just walk. I'll see how it goes.
