It's almost 2 AM, and still hot. I just finished playing games and chatting with friends on Discord. Every time I play, it’s hard to get to bed by midnight. I’ve set the AC timer for two nights now, but it’s always still running when I wake up. My arm has been feeling much better from running and general activity, but I think I’ve overdone it with two days of intense gaming and running. My hand feels a bit swollen (laughs), so I'll probably rest it tomorrow.
I set my alarm for 8 AM, but I'd woken up so many times last night — maybe from stress, or too much screen time before bed — that I just turned it off and slept until ten. After getting ready, I went to the gym. Running today was actually fun (laughs). Yesterday, my first day back, was so tiring, my heart rate went over 170. I thought something was wrong, but then I remembered my old records from when I first started running; it was the same, hitting 170-180 some days. It’s just part of the progression, but I might need to rest tomorrow.
I was mostly home today, but I did drive out to Big C to drop off and pick up my brother at the truck repair shop. I also bought some Isaan food from my regular spot, Aunt Ouan's, though it wasn't very good tonight.
Around noon, after running, I walked around a local market at Central. There were lots of tempting things, but also very expensive. I bought some roasted cashews with something that tasted like coconut, and another bag of almonds with something dark. They were so good, a small bag was 150 baht, but I think I need to go back and buy more.
