I almost didn't record this, I was ready for bed. But then I thought, "Discipline!" (laughs) Whose dad's name is that, anyway?
This evening, Mom made sukiyaki. It wasn't dry, but not too soupy either — just a little bit of broth, perfect. It was delicious, truly amazing. (laughs) I ordered it special: extra meat, less vegetables. (laughs) Extra meat and just cut back on the veggies. It was perfect.

I thought I had no plans for the evening, but then around 8 PM, Sky and P' Earn showed up at the house. I was surprised, but Sky said he'd told my brother he was coming. My brother just hadn't told me, assuming I knew since I'd mentioned seeing Sky at the gym earlier. Sky came over to hang out. He's been recovering, and while he still has some symptoms, he was able to play.
There were five of us, then my brother called P' Phoom to come over. We still needed to pick up Pohn. (laughs) We had four or five cars parked outside, counting everyone's, but we decided to pick up Pohn on just one PCX motorbike. There were three of us already — my brother, me, and Sky. (laughs) That's technically full. (laughs) We've done four before, with P' Phoom in front. This time, Pohn would be the one riding in front.
We just showed up at his house, same as always, without calling ahead. At first, he thought we were messing with him, showing up three deep on a bike. But he came out, and we ended up with four people on that one PCX, Pohn right in front! It was hilarious, so wild. (laughs) Going around corners, it felt like we'd fly off. And then we passed a bar with girls sitting outside, and they just stared at Pohn in front. (laughs) He looked back like, "What the hell?" (laughs) Sky and I were cracking up. By the time we got back to the house and actually started playing, it was almost 9 PM.
We started playing Uno; Sky had brought it over since we hadn't played in ages. It was a No Mercy version, and it was so much fun, super chaotic. (laughs) There were so many moments, I'm trying to remember them all. Nobody actually won by calling 'Uno'; most people just died by going over 25 cards. It was brutal.
P' Phoom won the second round. We also ate a ton of snacks Sky brought. All that cycling I did earlier today? Probably completely undone. (laughs) My diet control for the day just broke at the very end. During the second round, I knocked over my Yeti cup. Water spilled everywhere, and I almost tried to catch it with the cup to drink it! (laughs) I quickly grabbed a cloth to clean it up before I did anything too gross. Almost.
Each round had so many fun moments, it's hard to pick. But the last round, the third one, was wild from the start. Pohn got five Rewind Action cards out of seven total! He could have just spammed them and won in one or two turns. (laughs) Of course, that didn't happen; he got hit with a bunch of cards first. I actually died first in that round.

Then Pohn used a card that made Sky draw, and Sky ended up with over ten cards in one turn. Then Pohn used a Knight card, and Sky had 25 cards. The No Mercy rule is that if you go over 25, you're out. Sky was so relieved, thinking he'd survived. But Pohn still had another draw card, and the next turn, Sky was out. (laughs) It was so messed up.
We only played three rounds because it was getting late, and P' Ern wasn't feeling well. She's a nurse, and her job is really demanding, so she had to get some rest before her shift tomorrow. Everyone split up. P' Phoom drove, so he gave Pohn a ride home.
I've brushed my teeth and washed my face, and I've been listening to music for a bit, getting ready for bed. It's so late now, almost 1 AM, and I usually wake up at 6 AM. I really need to get to sleep. I said I wouldn't tell a long story, but I ended up telling a lot. (laughs) Okay, see you.
