I still made it before midnight! (laughs) Oh well. I was going to say something, but never mind. (sighs) Today was amazing, for some reason. (sighs) My head is still wet from the shower, and I'm lying in bed, just wanting to talk casually.
Last night I went to bed at my usual time, around midnight. But this morning, I was woken up at 6 AM. My mom was up, doing something with the dogs, I think getting them ready for the vet. She put Namcha in a cage, or maybe she was punishing her, and Namcha just started screaming. She's so tiny, but she makes such a fuss! So I was awake at 6 AM and couldn't get back to sleep. I tried to sleep more, but it was just on and off, not deep sleep. I even had weird dreams where I was tensing up. (laughs) So I didn't sleep well at all. My sleep score would be really low.
Mom was taking Cocoa and Namcha to the vet because they've been scratching their ears a lot, ever since we got them. They scratch even though there doesn't seem to be anything there. Since it hadn't gone away, we took them to the vet. Turns out they have some kind of mites or something in their ears. The vet gave us antibiotics to kill them.
I had planned to go to the gym in the morning, but because I was so groggy and blurry from lack of sleep, (laughs) I decided not to. I showered and then continued practicing my Hiragana, Japanese.
Umm, I feel like I'm speaking so confusingly today. (laughs) It's strange.
Today I also drank Oliang that Mom made for me again. (laughs) She makes it delicious, but it's not good to drink often. Usually, when I make coffee or sweet drinks for myself, I use stevia instead of sugar, and no milk. But Mom, when she eats sweets, she likes to really indulge. If you're going to have a sweet, it should be delicious, so she adds condensed milk and sugar. It's really good, but (laughs) it's fattening if you drink it too much. I've had it two days in a row, so that's enough.
I ended up going to the gym in the evening. I drove today because I didn't feel like riding my motorcycle; my hands felt heavy. I planned to do a light workout, but it felt pretty good. I tried to be mindful not to overdo it and get dizzy. I did a full leg workout today, same as usual, and it went really well. Plus cardio.
It's amazing how quickly the muscle memory comes back. I haven't been back to weights for long, but if I work out a bit and eat enough protein, the muscle I had before my injury comes back so fast. I've only been lifting for a short time and I'm almost back to my full stack on leg exercises like leg curls, leg extensions, and those other leg exercises whose names I can't remember anymore. (laughs) I used to remember almost all the exercises! Now I've forgotten them all. (laughs) But that's not the point. The point is, once my hand heals, if I can get back to full-body workouts, my body should recover quickly. It's not healing. (sighs) Will it heal before the end of the year? (laughs) It's been a year already! (laughs)
After my evening workout, I did cardio, cycling today. It was fun. I really like cycling these days; it's relaxing. (laughs) It's a change of scenery, and it's enjoyable.
When I got back in the evening, Mom and Dad were out at the market. For dinner, we only had Gaeng Som at home. I called Mom to ask if she was making anything else, and she said probably not, but she was at the market, so she could look for something. I told her it was fine, I'd just get Pad Krapow. As soon as I said no to her looking, I drove to the Krapow place, and (laughs) I almost cried, the shop was closed! (laughs) Closed! (sighs) (laughs) I sat there for a bit, wondering what to do. So I texted Mom back and told her to find something for me to eat, (laughs) because the shop was closed and I couldn't handle it.

So Mom bought half a boiled chicken in fish sauce. Wow, I couldn't finish it. I put the rest in the fridge. Half a chicken, and I was the only one eating it. No one else ate any.
That was pretty much my day. In the evening, I just sat around, reading vocabulary, reviewing things. I didn't play many games today. (sighs) Suddenly, I just felt down. In the evening, I felt... I don't know. I felt like listening to sad songs. (laughs) What kind of feeling is that? Anyway, that's about it. Nine minutes already. Okay. (sighs) Time to listen to some music.
