I haven't recorded in a while. I haven't even talked about yesterday or the day before!
This morning was pretty quiet. I woke up and played with the dog. (laughs) Around ten, I drove to Central for food because there wasn't anything to eat at home. My dad and brother were at work, and I was with my mom. She had some home-cooked food, but I wasn't really in the mood for it. Plus, I had an upset stomach today, probably from my mom's curry yesterday or something. (laughs) I've been to the bathroom so many times today.
So I went to the cafeteria and got skinless chicken biryani. Then I stopped at Tops to buy Pepsi Zero and Sprite Zero.
When I got back, I worked on improving my web app and some other projects. I'm trying to make use of my Claude subscription since I don't want it to go to waste. (laughs) I used it to tweak a few things, applying some ideas I had.
Around 4 PM, I went to the gym. I left at 3, but got there at 4. Today was amazing because I did leg press. I don't usually use that specific leg press machine — I mean, I do leg press, but it's a different angle. Normally, I use the one where you push straight out, but this one you push diagonally upwards. I hadn't used it, or rather, hadn't used it in a long time. I started adding weight. The machine itself is 75 kilograms, so I kept adding more, doing many sets, trying to see how much I could handle. I stopped at 250 kilograms. Honestly, I probably could have done more, because (laughs) that last set was over ten reps, maybe twelve or thirteen. I could have gone further, but I was starting to get tired. I'd already done so many sets, gradually increasing the weight by 20, 15, or 10 kilos at a time. I was just getting lazy to lift the weight plates. It was heavy putting them on, but taking each plate off was even worse! (laughs) I tried to use only my left hand to lift them.
Then I worked on other leg parts: inner thighs, outer thighs, glutes, and then hit the quads again. I could barely walk afterward. (laughs)
I finished with cardio, just walking. Not incline walking or anything, because I was so exhausted. My heart rate was already in Zone 2 just from a normal walk. (laughs)
Right after my walk, I saw a notification that my brother was at Central. Then Sky called out of the blue. Turns out, they were together. Sky had come to my house thinking my brother would be moving things to his new place, but it looked like rain, so they decided against it. Instead, they planned to grab some food, and Sky also wanted to buy some things at Tops. So when Sky called to ask if I was done, I said I was, and we met up. We went to Tops, I bought some whey, and then we headed home to meet up with my mom. Sky and my brother were on a motorcycle, and I drove my car. We met at home because I needed to use the bathroom. (laughs) Not that I was in pain, but we were planning to go out to eat, so I wanted to take care of that first.
Sky and my brother drove to pick up Pon, who I hadn't seen in ages. After that, we drove around town looking for food. It's the Vegetarian Festival, and our usual mala hotpot place was serving only vegetarian options. We just kept driving around, wasting gas. (laughs)
We drove around and around until we finally ended up at a mu kratha place, which was a huge mistake. Damn it, I knew this would happen. I don't even like mu kratha, especially with our group — we're such heavy eaters. (laughs) We eat so fast and so much meat. Mu kratha is so slow-paced. It takes forever to grill each piece, and you can't just swallow it quickly; you have to chew it for a long time because (laughs) you'll have to wait another three to five minutes for the next piece. In the end, I just wasn't full. I'm starting to get hungry again now. (laughs) Two hundred baht and I'm still not full. We should have just gone for shabu. The problem is, our usual shabu place, Shabu Kong, is closed for the Vegetarian Festival. Oh well. The khao pad kra pao place was open, though. We could've just gone there. (laughs) We tried to eat until we were full, but I didn't want to eat too much. I mean, I didn't want to eat too many carbs. We ate a lot of meat, but it wasn't fast enough. We had two grills, and mine was pretty good, but it still wasn't quick enough. Sky's grill was terrible; we changed the charcoal twice, and it still wouldn't get hot. We even got a new grill, and it was still cold. Oh, it was a headache.
We finished eating around 7 PM. We dropped off my family members, and then Sky rode his motorcycle home. I just finished showering and everything. I haven't been recording much lately, or sitting down to do this, because (laughs) I have people to share things with now, people to talk to. This journal, I guess, should probably (laughs) keep its quiet, private space. When I have people to talk to at night, to share stories with, this place becomes a little less important. I just take photos and send them in chats now, not specifically for this. That's about it. I'm going to sleep now. (laughs) Didn't play RoV today. Okay, see you. Bye. Have a good day. See you.
