I'm so sleepy right now. This morning I woke up and didn't do much. I ate my mom's pad krapow, and it was so incredibly spicy I could only eat a little. Damn, it was spicy.
Around noon, my brother called. His girlfriend's mom came into town and invited us out for Isaan food at a really good spot. I was still full from eating earlier, but tagged along anyway. Just picked at some grilled pork neck and chitterlings (laughs). We talked for a while until the rain clouds rolled in.
Stopped to grab coffee at Panthai before heading back, and right then the sky broke open — just a massive downpour, absolutely pouring down.
Got home and spent the afternoon drifting around. For a while I couldn't even remember what I'd done with all those hours, but then it clicked: I spent the afternoon playing ROV with Non.
In the evening, my brother's girlfriend came over again, with her sister, and invited us to eat moo krata (Thai BBQ hotpot) at a place nearby. So I finally got some today! There were four of us, and we got a table right away, which was good. It was 259 baht per person, but we added a grill, so it was 299. The food was good, and the refillable drinks were fine; they even had Coke Zero, which was awesome. The only thing was the table was a bit small, so there wasn't much space for all the food.
The rain started up again, so we headed home. Ended up hopping on ROV with the whole crew — me, Pon, Non, the youngest guy in our group, and Non's girlfriend. A full five-stack running matches until eleven o'clock tonight.
