It's 9:20 pm and I still have sixty-three Anki words left to review. (sighs)
I went to the gym around six this evening. The parking lot was packed as usual, but the sky behind the mall was stunning. I thought I'd park and snap a photo.
Once I parked and got out, I patted my pockets — no phone. My phone often slides out of my shorts when I sit, so I assumed it was somewhere in the car, but after checking, it wasn't there either. I checked Find My on my Apple Watch (laughs), and sure enough, I'd left it at home.
Luckily, I had already downloaded a few offline playlists from Apple Music to my watch. I paired my earphones directly to the watch and did fifty minutes of incline walking. It was my first time working out with no phone at all — no screen to stare at, just skipping tracks on my wrist and looking around the gym.
I had planned to stop by Tops for groceries afterward, but without a phone, I drove straight back. Got home around eight, showered, ate dinner, and brushed my teeth.
Today felt a little tense, though I can't quite put my finger on why. (sighs) Time to finish those sixty-three Anki flashcards before bed.
