I just finished showering; it's 12:40 AM. (sighs) I'm not sure if I should call this "today" or "tomorrow" anymore. Yesterday, I woke up around eight for a client meeting, driving all the way to Koh Lanta. It felt like crossing provinces, arriving exactly at eleven. The meeting was okay, I guess; we'll see if the contract goes through.
After that, I spent the rest of the day working on my family website project, specifically improving the mobile and web versions. There will be more adjustments tomorrow. While showering, I was listening to a YouTube podcast. I usually look for long-form discussions, and lately, I've been listening to Niwklom's latest live stream, 'New Generation Detaching from Technology for a Happier Life.' I only got about ten minutes in, but it really resonated. It makes me feel like time just disappears, especially with short-form videos. It's hard to stay focused, and it doesn't feel like I get much benefit, even though I still want to stay updated on things like anime and coding communities on Facebook.
I'm thinking about adding an embed feature to this app for YouTube links, Spotify, or Apple Music, to make them display beautifully. I also spent time yesterday researching new designs for the main page; on mobile, there's just too much text, and it feels overwhelming. I want to make it cleaner, maybe organize entries by day. Another project idea for myself is a voice recorder that uses AI to summarize a to-do list from my spoken thoughts. It's almost 1 AM. I still haven't managed to control my sleep schedule, and next week looks busy. I hope to add a pause button to this app soon, so I don't have those awkward silences when I'm thinking.
