I was a mess last night. I finished Code Geass, and with the song "Continued Story," oh my god, I cried until past 2 AM. I didn't even have the mood to record an entry. (laughs) It's one of those stories that can really make me cry, which is amazing. (sighs)
What did I even do yesterday? I can't remember. (laughs) I'll have to retrace my steps. Maybe I should just skip it, but I'll write it down in case I want to read it later. (laughs) Oh, yesterday I had a customer contract signing, and the deposit was all settled. That was in the morning. Around noon, I went to the district office to get some document copies.
In the afternoon, I took a land agent to see a property. Later in the afternoon, I also met up with some friends, P'Poom and Pon. After all that, we stopped to eat at one of our regular spots, a restaurant called Long Samai.
We ordered something spectacular: a giant iced tea. It was a single glass that six people could drink. If you drank it alone, a doctor might order your leg amputated, you'd have to be careful. (laughs)
After that, I came home and watched Code Geass straight through to the end. I'll review it properly later on Shelf. It's a shame I watched it on YouTube, though, because reading the comments afterward meant I got spoiled by some of them, and it kept me in analysis mode. I couldn't just get lost in the characters' emotions at first. I only really started to absorb it much later, towards the end of season two, when it was all over.
But the music is incredible. I'd rate the soundtrack number one. It's just amazing, especially the very end. Oh, it's brilliant. All hail Lelouch Vi Britannia.
My stomach ache is better again. It was hurting yesterday, but today it's improved. I took my medicine and ate something, though yesterday I ate a lot again, especially that iced tea. I really want to go cycling today. I'll have to figure out which anime to watch next. (laughs)
