Hello, it's noon. I woke up around 8-ish this morning, and what did I wake up to do? Go to the doctor. (laughs) I just got back from the hospital and already ate.
I've had a stomach ache around my navel, slightly to the lower right. It actually hurt a lot three days ago, after I finished running. When I poked around my navel, my stomach really stung. It's been three days now and it's still hurting, so I decided it was better to go to the doctor.
At the hospital, the doctor felt three spots for less than a minute and diagnosed it. (laughs) She said it's probably gastritis. I was worried at first that it might be the start of appendicitis.
The doctor said there's a chance it might just be an initial symptom. If the pain spreads further down to the lower right, or if I have a fever, then it could be appendicitis. But for now, he's treating it as gastritis.
I also got medicine through an IV drip in my arm. I was lying there for about half an hour receiving the medication. I just got back home.

The doctor told me to avoid fermented foods and heavy meals. But I just got back and ate spicy pad krapow. (laughs) Oh well, there wasn't anything else. I'll eat bland food later; I'll ask my mom to make something else.
It's good that it's nothing too serious. I was pretty worried at first. Now I'll take the oral medicine after eating.
So that's the update: I woke up and went straight to the hospital. I guess I'll rest from running today. (laughs) I was planning to go this morning, but my stomach hurt. Maybe I'll see about the evening, I might go cycling. Who knows?
