Review
I've watched about eight episodes of Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha so far, and I'm finding the plot a bit too linear and predictable. After seeing other anime with more multi-dimensional storytelling, this one just feels a bit flat, and the mood isn't quite right for me right now.
I know the main character being overpowered is a core selling point for the series, but it just didn't click this time. I think maybe I came to it after watching a lot of really well-structured shows, and it suffered in comparison. I might pick it up again later, but for now, it's not holding my attention.
